ASPORTUGUESAS and Central Models are visiting national beaches seeking out for new egofriendly models

Central Models, a prestigious modeling agency in Portugal, and ASPORTUGUESAS, a newly launched summer footwear brand with a cork sole, have teamed up to create a new modeling contest - "ASPORTUGUESAS be a model" aimed at seeking out fresh faces for Central Models. This will be Central Models’ greatest scouting event of the year for both men and women. There will be 3 casting calls in July taking place on beaches from north to south of the country to select Central Models’ next generation of models.

What’s the idea? It is to find Portugal’s most promising fashion models to be represented by Central Models, a prestigious modeling agencywith strong traditions and a success history in launching the career of Portuguese models worldwide.  Central Models’ portfolio includes great fashion names such as Sara Sampaio, Gonçalo Teixeira, Jonathan and Kevin Sampaio, Luis Borges, Daniel Hanganu among many others.

Much more than mere flip flops, ASPORTUGUESAS are not only a highly versatile summer footwear but they are also "egofriendly and ecofriendly" as they are sophisticated cork-inspired flip flops. This new concept is thus a great option compared to traditional flip-flops. ASPORTUGUESAS are both comfortable and fashionable, and suitable to be worn in every occasion - whether on the beach, in the city or even to go out at night.

3 casting calls from north to south of Portugal
The contest consists of 3 casting calls in July taking place on beaches from north to south of the country. Up to six models - three female and three male models - will be selected in each casting call. The dates and locations are already set: July 3 (L'Kodac beach, Leça da Palmeira), July 9 (Tamariz Beach, Estoril) and July 16 (NoSoloAgua beach, Praia da Rocha).

The finale will take place at Vilamoura’s Bliss nightclub on July 23-24, where the two winners - a female and a male model - will be selected.
